  • Joe Green, Owner/Stylist

    Joe has a very dedicated clientele and is admired for his work as a colorist and his “perfectionist” cutting skills. Over the years, Joe’s experience in this industry has ranged from stylist, salon owner, and educator to platform artist. When beginning his career as an industry educator it wasn’t long before he brought his creativity and strong technical skills to the platform with the Zotos Creative Design Group where he was appointed Master Designer, the highest level of achievement within the group. Joe’s work has been featured in several industry magazines and publications throughout the years. Next, Joe was selected to join the Wella Corporation’s Artistic Team. As a member of the Artistic Team, Joe traveled nationally instructing professional stylists on the latest trends in corrective color and color formulation. Joe also joined the ranks of the most prestigious, knowledgeable and talented colorists in the United States. He passed a stringent examination in the chemistry, psychology and physiological aspects of hair coloring and has achieved the status of a Board Certified Master Colorist. As a Board Certified Master Colorist, Joe has verified his expertise in the state-of-the-art application techniques and is qualified to train hairdressers in the finer points of professional hair coloring. Joe’s focus in his salon is to provide above average customer service, the finest-quality products, and latest styles/services to its clients.

  • Amy

    STYLIST

    Amy’s training and fashion sense will certainly keep you up to date with the latest hairstyles and fashion trends. Having been in the industry since the year 2000, Amy has attended numerous cut and color classes as well as the KMS Academy in Santa Monica, California and the Goldwell Academy in Baltimore.

    Amy is a big part of the bridal team where she focuses on creating gorgeous hairstyles for our brides and their attendants.

  • Cassondra

    STYLIST

    Cassondra has participated in several local fashion shows where she has been able to display her talent creating long hair dressing at it’s finest. Along with many advanced trainings, including the Oscar Bond Academy in NYC, Cassondra  trained in Los Angeles with Yuko and Hallows where she perfected her skills in Japanese Straightening.

    Cassondra’s presence in the Bridal Suite creating amazing updos along with her keen sense of fashion has definitely added to the success of our Bridal Suite.

  • Christine

    STYLIST/GREAT LENGTHS SPECIALIST

    Christine is one the originals at Changes Salon. She started with us as Joe’s assistant in 1999 and has been here ever since. Preforming waxing, manicures and pedicures while building a following, Christine has worked her way up to a well seasoned stylist providing her clients with great cuts and advanced highlighting and color techniques. She has trained with TIGI in Dallas, the Oscar Bond Academy in trendy Soho, TIGI in New York City, and the Goldwell Academy in Baltimore, along with guest artists from Keune.

    Christine is a certified Great Lengths Extension Specialist, providing her clientele with the opportunity to add volume, length, color and style to their hair.

    STYLIST

    Diane has had a passion for hair and corrective coloring for 30 years. Diane is always on a quest for a corrective color challenge and for more color chemistry knowledge. She has trained on numerous occasions at Goldwell USA, Vidal Sasson, the Oscar Bond Academy, TIGI, and has attended many advanced classes. With Diane, you can always anticipate a thorough consultation and consistent results. Her genuine love for servicing her clients needs shows in her work as well as her loyal clientele. Any hairdresser will tell you “Diane knows her color chemistry!”, that’s for sure.

    STYLIST

    Elke’s energy and outstanding people skills along with her belief that continuing education is the key to success is what brought Elke where she is today. Soon after joining us at Changes, Elke went to train with Keune, a multimillion dollar hair color company from Holland. Elke became a certified Keune educator which allows her to share her knowledge with her clients and work with the beauty industry’s experts.

  • Jamielynn

    NAIL TECH / MASTER PEDICURIST

    Jamielynn’s expertise in nail artistry comes from 10+ years experience along with 1st Place awards in Regional and New York State competitions. You can always count on beautiful work and an incredible pedicure. In 2008, Jamielynn completed her educational requirements with the International Pedicure Association to became a Certified Master Pedicurist.  You name it, Jamielynn can do it with any-one’s nails, including artificial toe nails.

  • Kayla

    STYLIST

    Hot new talent would describe Kayla’s status in the beauty industry! Soon after Kayla completed her required education as a cosmetologist, she began her career here at Changes Salon. Several years have passed since then and with lots of educational classes, including the Toni & Guy Academy in New York City, Kayla is quickly building a clientele. So catch her while you can!

  • Kristin

    STYLIST

    Kristin is no rookie in this industry and it can been sensed during her in-depth consultations. She has gone to the Oscar Bond Academy in New York City where she perfected her cutting skills.  Her color expertise came from the many color chemistry classes she has attended along with her attendance at the Goldwell Academy in Baltimore.  She is certified in So.Cap Extensions and loves doing bridal work and prom updos!

    Kristin’s sense of style and her outgoing personality assures that she has chosen the right career.

  • Lara Marie

    STYLIST / BRIDAL COORDINATOR

    Lara has been a stylist for 15 years. Her love for color began when she attended a training conference at the L’Oreal Institute in Manhattan, where she soon after became an educator for L’Oreal. After working for L’Oreal, Lara took a position as a National Educator with John Paul Mitchell Systems. While receiving extensive training in NYC, Arizona, Las Vegas and Hawaii, Lara shared her knowledge of color, cutting and long hair styling by teaching other hairdressers the latest techniques. She also completed her training as a Goldwell Master Colorist.

    Lara’s passion for bridal work along with a keen sense of this industry are the two factors which created the Bridal Suite at Changes Salon. The Bridal Suite is a beautiful Victorian style suite where our brides and their attendants can privately attend to their beauty needs and enjoy a smooth beginning to their special day. Lara’s enthusiasm assures our brides and her attendants a great experience.

    ESTHETICIAN  /  MAKEUP ARTIST   /   NAIL TECH

    Laura brings to you skincare for men, women and teens; customized to meet every one’s needs.  Laura graduated from the Aesthetic Science Institute in 2006. Since completing her education she has taken advanced classes and now utilizes skin care techniques with an emphasis on restoring and achieving natural balance to the skin.  Her clients love the body treatments offered on her menu of services.  And, as everyone knows Laura loves shaping eyebrows, and it certainly shows by the way she perfected her waxing skills.

    Laura recently added manicures and pedicures to her services too!

    Monica is a graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, certified in LED Revitalight Photo Pulsation Anti-Aging Rejuvenation. She has successfully completed educational courses at the Robert Lewis School of Esthetics, Von Lee School of Esthetics, International Dermal Institute, Eve Taylor Clinical Aromatherapy, Chinese Acupressure, Thai Facial Massage, Acne Treatments, Rosacea and Sensitized Skin,  Spa Therapy, Stress Therapy, LaStone Therapy,  OHASHI Touch for Skin, Therapeutic Touch and most recently, the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

    Monica’s passion for health, nutrition and wellness are obvious from her many certificates of achievements.

    Rachel is one team player! She came to Changes Salon with a desire to build a clientele and to work with a team of professionals that stay current and take education very seriously. Rachel loves color and takes pride in doing both men and women’s haircuts.

  • Sarene

    ESTHETICIAN / MAKEUP ARTIST

    Sarene began her career in the industry right here at Changes Salon about 10 years ago as our Front Desk Coordinator. Intrigued with the industry she decided to continue her education at the Aesthetic Science Institute where she graduated with high honors and became a NYS Licensed Esthetician. Sarene does an incredible facial and shares her skin care knowledge with our clients, recommending the proper products for their skin type.

    She is a part of Changes’ Bridal Team where she has made many bridal attendants happy after applying their makeup. Prom girls love, love, love her makeup applications for their special day.  Also included in Sarene’s menu of services is facial and body waxing.

  • Tarra

    STYLIST

    Tarra has a strong dedication to the industry and to her clients. Ten years ago Tarra began her career here at Changes Salon as an assistant. During that time she participated in many cut and color classes, received certificates from the Wella Studio in NYC, the KMS Academy in California, the Goldwell Academy in Baltimore. More recent she trained with guest artists associated with Keune. Tarra also trained with Yuko Systems where she learned the technique and chemistry behind Japanese Straightening.  Recently Paul Brown’s Keratin Straightening and Retexturizing was added to her list of services offered.

  • Vicki

    STYLIST / MAKEUP ARTIST

    Vicki has been a part of the team of professionals at Changes Salon for 12+ years. Mastering color is where it all started then moving on to perfecting her cutting skills. Vicki has many advanced classes to add to her list of credentials. She’s attended Redken 5th Avenue, the Oscar Bond Academy, the Wella Studio, the Goldwell Academy, TIGI Academy,  and has trained with International Artists from Italy and Ireland.

    Several years ago, after completing an intensive training at the International Dermal Institute in Boston, Vicki added facials and bridal makeup to her menu of services. Her expertise in facial waxing has raised the bar for waxing services at Changes Salon.

    “Multi-tasking” is an understatement for this most important position at our salon. While juggling a very hectic salon schedule, scheduling appointments and tending to client needs, our front desk coordinators work closely with the entire team to ensure that all clients have a wonderful experience at Changes Salon.

    Alyssa & Karlee

    New Talent! They’ve completed their mandatory cosmetology program and are currently assisting the team. Along with assisting, they are attending in-salon training classes and will soon be on their way to building a following of their own!
